IN-PERSON An Introduction to Estate Planning and Elder Law | Wednesday, May 18th at 11am
In this program you will learn about the 3 important estate planning documents: Wills, Powers of Attorneys, and Advance Directives for Healthcare. Participants will also learn about what happens when you do not plan, including intestacy (the Court process for administering an estate when there is no Will), guardianship (the Court process for determining if a person is incapacitated and appointing someone to manage his or affairs when there is no Power of Attorney), and the devastation of long term care costs (including methods of paying such as Medicaid).
IN-PERSON Stories from NJ Diners | Monday, May 23rd at 7pm
Join speaker Michael Gabriele, author of “Stories from New Jersey Diners” (published in 2019 by The History Press) as he presents a program on his book, sharing stories he has documented about the “Diner Capital of the World.” The heartfelt remembrances that Garbriele will share have shaped lives, families, careers, businesses, and communities, and comprise the “untold” stories of New Jersey’s history.
