Upcoming February Virtual Health Lectures

The Livingston Public Library has virtual lectures planned for February to help you stay healthy.  These virtual events will take place through Zoom and registration is required.  Information on how to access the Zoom presentation will be emailed to you the day before the event.  

Heart Health Matters | Thursday, February 4 at 11am 

February is Heart Health month! This workshop will discuss how you can make easy lifestyle changes to improve your heart health and learn about some favorite foods for a healthy heart. You can learn more about this event and register here. 

Maintaining Healthy Relationships Advice for Couples | Wednesday, February 17 at 7pm

In this virtual program, you will discover the elements that encompass  a strong and healthy relationship, including the nurture of  compassionate self-awareness. You will also explore the 5 essential domains of self-awareness (STEAM): Sensations, Thoughts, Emotions, Actions, and Mentalizing. You can learn more about this event and register here. 

Eating Healthy for Cancer Prevention | Wednesday, February 24 at 11am 

In this lecture, you will learn how to portion your plate with cancer-fighting foods, as well as the different food groups that can promote good health. You will also learn which foods are best to avoid for optimal health. You can learn more about this event and register here.
