Upcoming August Book Clubs

Beat the heat this August and join one of our book club discussions!

Bookish Vibes | Thursday, August 19 @ 7pm

Are you an avid reader looking to discuss contemporary fiction, trending titles, and popular authors?  If so, our Bookish Vibes book group is for you!  Join us this month as we discuss books by New York Times bestselling author Wendy Wax, who will also be joining our discussion!  If you have read books by Wendy Wax before, join us to discuss what you have read with both Wax and other readers.  If you are new to Wendy Wax’s books, copies of her latest novel, The Breakup Book Club, will be available for check out at the Patron Services Desk.

Bookish Vibes takes place virtually on Zoom and is open to everyone. Registration is required and can be done so on the Library’s event calendar. Information on how to access the Zoom event will be emailed to you the day before the program is to take place.

Unstuck in Time | Tuesday, August 31 @ 7pm

“Unstuck in Time” revisits classic speculative fiction. This month Unstuck in Time will be reading Daphne du Maurier’s 1938 novel “Rebecca.” Print copies of the book will be available to check out from our circulation desk starting 4 weeks before the meeting. An ebook is available on Overdrive, and an audiobook is available on Hoopla.

Unstuck in Time takes place in person. All participants are required to follow all current CDC guidelines.

We can’t wait to see you at one of these book club meetings!
