We invited children and teens to dig into an exciting creative challenge for our Summer Bookmark Contest, and you delivered! With over 130 imaginative entries inspired by this year’s Summer theme, “Unearth a Story,” our library community’s creativity came to life.
Library employees carefully reviewed each submission and voted across three categories, grades K-2, 3-5, and 6-8. We didn’t receive any entries in the grade 9-12 category this year, and we hope to see our high schoolers join in the fun next time.
Our selected artists will receive a coupon for an item from the Friends Book Sale, a $25 Amazon Gift Card, and will have their designs professionally printed and distributed to the Livingston Library community!
The library is incredibly grateful to every child and teen who participated. Your creativity, effort, and unique ideas helped to make this contest extra special. If your design wasn’t selected this time, we hope you’ll keep drawing, creating, and sharing your talents; we can’t wait to see what you come up with next!
