Join Us for an Evening of Ramapough-Munsee Lenape Traditional Storytelling!

RAMAPOUGH-MUNSEE LENAPE Traditional Storytelling. Keepers of the Pass. Meet Tribal Representative Amy to hear her stories of the past and present. PRESENTED BY TRIBAL MEMBER AMY IN RECOGNITION OF NATIVE AMERICAN HERITAGE MONTH. Photograph of Amy.

November is Native American Heritage Month! This year, we are especially excited and extremely honored to host Amy, a Tribal Representative from the Ramapough-Munsee Lenape Nation. Amy will be sharing stories of the past and present with the audience. This event is geared towards children from kindergarten through second grade, but all are welcome to attend. Please bring your friends and family and spread the word!

This event will take place in our library’s Program Room this Thursday, November 16 at 6:30 PM. After the event, please take a moment to browse our beautiful display of books for Native American Heritage Month.

I also encourage you to take a look at these outside links to learn more about Native American Heritage Month and the Ramapough-Munsee Lenape Nation.

Finally, I would like to give a special thank you to the Friends of the Library for sponsoring this important event.

We can’t wait to see you on November 16th!

~Lisa Jenkins, Youth Services Librarian
