Hi, it’s Jason, Young Adult Librarian.

I wanted to take some time to thank our volunteers for all their help this summer. Together, we were able to keep books on the shelves, put on amazing programming and keep our summer readers happy. 

During our Summer Learning Program (June 26th to August 4th)  67 different teens served 368 shifts totaling 562.25 hours!  This includes, our Summer Learning Assistants, who helped register young patrons and distribute prizes for the Summer Learning Program, shelvers, shelf readers, program assistants, program leaders, and more. 

We appreciate all the work that the volunteers have done. From the entire Youth Services Department, thank you!
