Livingston Library Community,
A new school year starts tomorrow, and the Library is here to help students in all grade levels get back in the academic spirit. In addition to the thousands of great books in our print collection, we have over a dozen digital resources that kids and teens can use to ace any assignment. There’s personalized homework help available through Tutor.com; online encyclopedias by Britannica and Funk & Wagnalls; and comprehensive databases like Academic Search Premier, MiddleSearch Plus, and Life in America, to name just a few.
Of course, in order to borrow our books and access all those valuable resources, you have to have a Livingston Library card. Any students who need to sign up for a new membership or renew an old one can stop by the Library with a parent or guardian and speak with a staff member for assistance.
Finally, teens who are looking to get an edge on the SAT this year will want to join our “Fuel Your Future: SAT Prep” program on Wednesday, September 16th at 6:30pm. Students in grades 9+ can meet in our Tech Room where we’ll explore the SAT preparation content in the Gale Presents: Test and Career Prep database. Registration is not required, but we do suggest bringing a laptop and/or notebook.
