Livingston Library Community,

It is with great pride and honor that we announce the Livingston Public Library’s new 2024-2028 Strategic Plan “A Tradition of Innovation.” The creation of this plan was a true community effort where you, the Livingston Library Community, demonstrated how deeply the library is valued as an essential part of our town and community.

This plan and its development follows the long standing tradition of innovative and forward-thinking services that first began in 1911 when the Alpha Club launched the first version of the Livingston Library. This plan is a commitment to a clear vision, mission, and set of values that reflect and resonate with those who live, work, play, and learn in Livingston.

On behalf of the staff of the Livingston Library I can confidently say that we not only look forward to the future of the Library but are excited to see how the library transforms to serve the needs of our community.
You can view the Library’s new strategic plan here.

Best,
Amy Babcock, Director
