Artist Christine Qin Wittlinger and her students have once again beautified our shelves! Until Saturday, February 15, visit the Youth Services wing to view the annual Lunar New Year Art Show. The displayed artwork is created by children ages 6 through 18 and includes works of various mediums including watercolor, sketching, oil pastel, markers, and crayons.

All of the featured artists are taught by Livingston resident Christine Qin Wittlinger (Christine’s Art Studio), who has both an art and business degree from China and America. Her method emphasizes creative expression combined with drawing techniques such as line color, proportion, perspective and more.

Christine’s students have received numerous awards, including 1st and 2nd places in Logo Design for Livingston Township’s Summer Camp, the State Finalist of the U.S. Doodle 4 Google competition, first place of NJ State in Junior High category, AAA Traffic Safety Poster Program Contest, Winner of Scholastics Art and Writing, and the National Art Honors Society scholarship.
