Library of Things

In the six months since we added Orboot augmented reality globes to the Youth Department for in-house use, your response has been incredible! Hundreds of children have marveled at the cultures and animals of Orboot Earth, the rovers and missions of Orboot Mars, and the land before time of Orboot Dinos.

We are very excited to announce that, in addition to the globes for use in the Youth Department, a set of Orboot globes has just been added to our Library of Things! Reserve one of the globes using the Library of Things page on the LPL website, then head to the Circulation Desk to pick it up. Download the Orboot apps on your device, select the learning level of your choice, and enjoy exploring the universe from the comfort of your own home.

Happy learning!

-Melanie Bruchet, Youth Services Librarian
