Adult Services

Summer is here, and this year we are super excited to explore kindness and community through this year’s Adult Summer Reading program. Our 2023 Adult Summer Reading program is focused around the theme of “All Together Now” and runs for six weeks from June 27th through August 4th.

You can register for this year’s Adult Summer Reading program, here!

Once the program begins on June 27th, stop by the library and receive a raffle ticket for each adult book, audiobook, or e-book/e-audiobook you check out. The more items you borrow, the more chances you have to win!

Winners will be selected on a weekly basis. Two grand prize winners will receive Kindles!

We also have fun activities for adults this summer centered around the theme of community. Participate in our “Why I Love My Library” display by filling out a heart with why you love your library community! Participants will earn an extra raffle ticket towards our weekly prize drawing.

You can also drop-in by the Reference Desk from June 27th through August 4th to participate in the Library’s Community Journal. Prompts will be provided. All you have to do is pick up where the last entry left off by adding a few sentences or a short paragraph to the journal.

Are you looking for  a way to give back to the community this year? Join our LiviCares Adult Volunteer Club! Drop-in on Tuesday, July 11th at 11am to help us make pet blankets for Mt. Pleasant Animal Shelter or on Tuesday, July 25th to help us write letters to Seniors in need of a smile to be donated to Letters Against Isolation

We can’t wait to see you at  the library this summer!
