September Adult Program Wrap Up

We kicked off fall programming with some wonderful adult events this September! Here’s a recap of what happened this month at the Livingston Public Library!

We got crafty with the Livingston Public Library librarians during our Pinterest Inspired Adult Craft: Sunflower Greeting Cards and our Adult Art Workshop: Aborigional Dot Painting, led by art instructor Robin K. Johnson. We also enjoyed drop-in crafting programs Color Your Stress Away and Crafternoons.

Classic music lovers enjoyed the lecture Beethoven: Music & Revolution, presented by Dr. Gil Harel.  And those who enjoy classic films were treated to a film screening of Notorious during our Classic Movie Tuesdays series.

Those interested in fashion enjoyed the workshop Dressing for Your Body Type, presented by Sharon Kornsein. She gave us wonderful fashion tips we can put into practice.

Seniors enjoyed the return of in-person Senior Happening this month with a performance by the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra titled “Musical Matriarchs.”

Readers and writers enjoyed a Meet the Author event with indie author Jeannie Zokan.  Zokan discussed her novels, the writing process, and indie publication. Readers also enjoyed our  Bookish Vibes book club and author visit with Chris Bohjalian, our Let’s Talk About Books book club, Unstuck in Time book club, and brand new Crime Time book club!

Make sure you visit the Library’s event calendar to see what exciting programs we have planned for the month of October!

We hope to see you at next month’s programs!
