Toddlers and their caregivers had a wonderful time using their gross and fine motor skills while engaging in imaginative play. Amanda and Lisa created five stations: “Apple Picking”, “Apple Cider Bowling”, “S’mores”, “Cereal Box Blocks”, and “Shaky Eggs”.
At the “Apple Picking” station, children “picked” felt apples from the poster board tree. Caregivers helped them count the apples they picked. Toddlers loved rolling the ball to knock down the plastic bottles decorated as apple cider jugs. There were pompom marshmallows for toddlers to “cook” in the campfire container. The toddlers loved dumping out the campfire when the s’mores were “done”. The cereal box blocks were a crowd favorite and the shaky eggs were great for toddlers with extra wiggles.
The program finished with a bubble parade! Check out event highlights in the Instagram video below.
