November Adult Programming Wrap Up

We had some wonderful adult programs take place during November.  Here is a quick recap of what happened at the Library this month!

We enjoyed many wonderfully informative lectures this month including Fact or Fiction: Finding Accurate Health Information Online; West Point: Duty, Honor, Country; and Juane Quick-to-See Smith: The Sacred and the Profane, the Divine and the Witty

November is a time to give thanks. This month we also enjoyed a workshop on 5 Daily Exercises in Gratitude. We also enjoyed a Genealogy Workshop! Be sure to mark your calendars for the second workshop in our Genealogy series on December 1st which will teach you how to use the Library’s subscription to Ancestry.com!

We got crafty this month with an instructor-led adult paint night Leaf Imprint Painting, and also enjoyed the Library’s drop-in Crafternoon and Color Your Stress Away events!

Our Seniors enjoyed the Library’s November Senior Happening event with a lecture-in-song performance by Fred Miller.

Those looking to enjoy an evening film were happy to attend our Tuesday Night Movie screening of Top Gun: Maverick

Do you love book clubs? This month we enjoyed the Library’s Crime Time book club, Let’s Talk About Books, Cookbook Club, and Bookish Vibes book club and author visit with Elyssa Freidland!

Our English Language Learner’s program has returned this fall. In addition to our Casual Conversation Groups, we also started our new ELL Book Club and Basic Grammar class. You can learn more about the Library’s ELL program here

Be sure to visit our events calendar to see what fun and engaging events we have planned for December.

See you next month!
