November Adult Virtual Programming Wrap Up

We had some wonderful virtual adult programs during the month of November! Here’s what happened during this month.

We experienced the Gilded age through the lecture Millionaire’s Row on the Palisades: A Glimpse of the Gilded Age presented by historical interpreter Eric Nelsen.  The story of the grand estates of the Gilded Age, as well as the stories of the families and servants who lived at them was brought to life before our eyes.

Design expert Marcie Cooperman joined us for her lecture Interior Design Basics for Your Home. She discussed the three concepts that are most important to making a comfortable and well-designed living space according to the principles of interior design: the floor plan, the colors you use, and the style of your furniture.

We love something yummy! Author John Holl took us on a culinary journey across New Jersey in the lecture Dishing Up New Jersey: Exploring the State’s Food Traditions.

Our Bookish Vibes book club returned this month via Zoom with an author visit by bestselling author Mary Alice Monroe. The next Bookish Vibes meeting will be held virtually on Monday, December 14 at 7pm.

We also enjoyed the virtual return of our Let’s Talk About Books book discussion group and our monthly Senior Happening with a wonderful Lecture in Song performance by Fred Miller.

Be sure to visit our events calendar to see all the great lectures, performances, crafts, and book clubs we have planned for the month of December!
