National Novel Writing Month

November is National Novel Writing Month (or NaNoWriMo for short).  This month writers across the nation challenge them to write everyday to complete the first draft of a novel.  You can read more about National Novel Writing Month, here.

If you’re looking to get started writing this month, the Livingston Public Library is here to help.  With your Livingston Public Library card, you have access to Universal Class.  Universal Class offers awesome courses worth real CEUs in areas such as: Creative Writing Workshops, Historical Fiction Writing, Mystery Writing, Romance Writing, and more!

The Library also has a wonderful collection of both print and digital writing books.  Below are some titles that you may find helpful as you begin your journey of penning down your novel.

Also, be sure to save your writing and mark your calendars for an upcoming virtual lecture on Tuesday, February 2nd at 7pm via on “Writing Your Best Novel,” presented by New Jersey author Tere Michaels. We can’t wait to see you there!
