Moon Festival Celebration at the Livingston Library

In celebration of the Moon Festival, stop by the children’s desk starting today, Monday, September 13th and pick up a lantern craft to make at home. One per child, please, available while supplies last.

Be sure to visit our Holiday Book Display to check out some books; here are a few we recommend:

Shanghai Sukkah by Heidi Smith Hyde

Thanking the Moon: celebrating the MidAutumn Festival by Grace Lin

The Shadow in the Moon: a tale of the Mid-Autumn Festival by Christina Matula

Thank you, Meiling by Linda Talley

Moonbeams, dumplings & dragon boats : a treasury of Chinese holiday tales, activities & recipes by Nina Simonds, Leslie Swartz, & the Children’s Museum of Boston
