Message from the Director
Livingston Library Community,
At the Livingston Public Library, we believe it’s never too early to encourage reading and educational family play time!
The Youth Services Department is excited to announce a brand new program for our youngest patrons: Fall Into Early Literacy Bingo! Preschoolers age 5 and under, toddlers and babies are invited to read together, attend library programs, play I Spy, talk about the colorful fall leaves, check out the library’s Toddler Exploration Area, and more!
As you read and complete activities, you will mark off squares. Once you complete 5 squares in a row vertically, horizontally or diagonally, (BINGO!) show your board to Librarians at the Youth Services Desk for a fun prize! If you complete the entire board of activities, return to the Youth Services Desk to claim a coupon good for one item from the Friends of the Livingston Library Book Sale. Upon completion of the entire board, your child will also be entered into a drawing for a chance to win more fun prizes, including a $50 Barnes & Noble gift card!
The program is designed for preschoolers age 5 and under, toddlers and babies. Participating is fun and easy. All you have to do is stop by the Youth Services Desk to pick up a copy of the bingo board. Registration is not required. The program runs through December 1st; the grand prize drawing will take place the week of 12/4.
Best,
Amy Babcock, Director
