Livingston Library Community,
I am excited to announce that the Livingston Public Library is once again hosting the Garden State Book Awards. Children and teens are able to vote for their favorite books virtually, Kids’ Choice style, to win the prestigious 2024 award.
The GSBA is a project of the Children’s Services Section and Young Adult Services Section of New Jersey Library Association. The goal is to introduce children and young adults to books that are appealing, well written, and which accurately display the diversity found in the state of New Jersey, while recognizing the authors for their literary contributions.
The nominated books were carefully selected by a committee of New Jersey Librarians and are divided into the following categories:
Childrens
Teens
Nominated GSBA books are on display in the Youth Services Department. Voting ends on December 15th. Submit your vote today!
