Livingston Library Community,
The Friends of the Livingston Public Library make all of the wonderful events, programs, and services not covered by the Township’s budget possible. From our very popular Creative Arts workshops, Music Matters concerts, Life Long Lectures, online resources, museum passes, and more, we are very thankful for the Friends!

The Friends of the Livingston Public Library are currently running their annual Take a Chance 50/50 silent auction. Auctioned items in this fundraiser include:
- Tickets to productions by the following theater and musical organizations: Paper Mill Playhouse, Shakespeare in the Park, The Shakespeare Theater of New Jersey, Vivid Stage, New Jersey Symphony, Laura Pels Theater, Manhattan Theatre Club, and the Baroque Orchestra of New Jersey
- Gift certificates to local businesses such as: Mezza, La Cucina Piccola, Anthony Franco’s, Bubbakoo’s Burritos, and Wegmans
- Experiences at The Brooklyn Botanic Garden, a subscription to the West Essex Tribune, puzzle games, sports trading cards from Skybox, Kindle Fire tablets, BBQ sets, wine sets, pampering packages, Stephen Taylor portraits, and more!
As part of Take a Chance, you also have the opportunity to purchase tickets for the 50/50 cash raffle, where 50% of ticket sales will be split among 3 winners and where the other remaining 50% will be donated to the library to fund programs and services. Winners will be announced at 12pm on May 16th. You need not be present to win. You can learn more about and participate in Take a Chance on the Library’s website here.
