Message from the Director: Support the Community with Livingston Neighbors Helping Neighbors

Livingston Library Community,

lnhn box

Livingston Neighbors Helping Neighbors (LNHN) is a non-profit organization that helps families within our community who are facing hardships. You can learn more about their organization here. The Livingston Public Library is pleased to help support LNHN, through an ongoing food and supply drive.  I encourage you to bring donations to drop off then next time you visit the library. A LNHN donation box is located just inside the main entrance.

Below is a list of the most needed items the LNHN pantry seeks.

  • Paper products such as toilet paper, paper towels, napkins, and  tissues
  • Toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, body wash, and soap
  • Cleaning products such as dish detergent, washing machine detergent, soap, and disinfectants
  • Tuna or canned chicken
  • Pasta sauce
  • Snacks for kids such as chips, pretzels, snack packs, cookies, Goldfish, granola bars, etc.
  • Pancake mix and syrup
  • Canned or jarred fruit
  • Instant mashed potatoes
  • Soup
  • Canned vegetables such as peas, corn, mixed vegetables, and green beans

You can drop off your donations anytime during the Library’s operating hours. Please keep in mind that LNHN cannot use or accept expired items.

We look forward to seeing you in the Library!

Best,

Amy Babcock, Director
