Are you looking for a way to enjoy the blooms and bounty of your summer garden year after year? You are invited to join us on Wednesday, August 9th at 11am for Seed Saving 101, where local farmer Anthony Bracco will teach us how we can get started saving seeds. . 

During this workshop, you will learn how to harvest and save your seeds for the next year so you can produce plants without relying on new or outside sources. The difference between heirloom and hybrid seeds, and how you can create your own varieties that can be passed down for generations will also be discussed.

Registration is not required and all gardeners are welcome to attend. If you are looking for more summer garden inspiration and seed saving tips, drop-into the library and browse our extensive gardening collection where we have books to inspire you.
