Message From the Director: Light Removes Darkness and Light Leads the Way

Light removes darkness and light leads the way.  The Livingston Public Library invites children to light the way for a prosperous year this week with a Diwali drop-in craft for children on Friday, October 18 from 4:30-5:30 PM.  Children will work together with their caregivers to make colorful light up ornaments for Diwali.  This program will be available while supplies last, so make sure you get here early!

If you’re looking for something to read to get you into the Diwali spirit, the library has wonderful books that you can take out such as Diwali: A Cultural Adventure by Sana Sood or The Diwali Gift by Shweta Chopra.  If you cannot make it into the Library, there are also ebook titles on Hoopla like Diwali: Festival of Lights by Rina Singh.

Our librarians are always full of great book recommendations!
