Message From the Director: Kindness Bingo

Livingston Library Community,

As the weather brightens and we begin to return to a more normal way of life, let’s all take some time to remember the everyday kindnesses that helped get us through this past year. The phone call from a friend, the neighbor who picked up groceries for you, and of course, the dedication of all our tireless healthcare workers. Our path to today was paved with the kindness and caring of our families, friends, neighbors, and community.

The Livingston Library invites you to join us in keeping the kindness going this June with Kindness Bingo.  A series of simple acts of kindness make up our Bingo cards – all we need is you to help us carry them out!  Once you complete a row (or two, or three) come back to the library to trade your card for raffle tickets you can put towards some excellent prizes: a Sculpto 3D Printer, Herb Garden Starter Kit, or a Gerald and Piggie plush gift set.

You may pick up a Kindness Bingo card at the Livingston Library anytime between June 1st and June 20th. The first 100 patrons to pick up cards will also receive a Kindness Rock and Butterfly Garden seed packet to help get you started. Completed Bingo Cards can be submitted anytime before July 10th. Raffle winners will be drawn on July 13th.

Please join us this June while we continue to work towards a kinder, better 2021.

Best,

Amy Babcock, Director
