Cooking is an essential life skill that comes with both practice and guidance.  Cooking culture has never been more popular and home cooks of all ages are getting into the kitchen and creating healthy delicious meals.  This summer The Livingston Public Library will be embracing the food scene with some exciting offerings designed to peak the interest of Livingston’s young chefs.

Our popular Let’s Cook program will be offered for teens entering grades 6-7; this series will introduce participants to foods and cooking techniques from a variety of cultures.  On Tuesday, July 16, Ms. Diane will teach teens to make mandoo (Korean style dumplings).  Then, on Tuesday, July 30, Ms. Diane will be joined by local resident Matthew Smith who gained recognition on this season of Masterchef Jr!  Matthew and Ms. Diane will perform a cooking demonstration, complete with a Q&A session, that you won’t want to miss.

I don’t know about you, but I’m feeling hungry (and inspired) already!
