“The more you read, the more things you will know.  The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.” – Dr. Seuss

Livingston Library Community,

Here at the Livingston Public Library we value our young patrons and want them to become confident readers. To help achieve this, children grades K+ are invited to join us on Wednesday, May 28th at 6:45pm for a special “Under the Stars” edition of the Library’s Book Buddies program.

Book Buddies pairs young readers with a teen mentor to practice their reading skills. This program is designed for children who are beginning to read independently and helps build confidence and increase sight and word recognition and vocabulary while reading.

Priority for Book Buddies will be given to Livingston cardholders. Those interested in attending this program are asked to show their Livingston Library card at the Youth Services Desk 30 minutes before the program start time for tickets to the event.

We can’t wait to see you and your young readers at the Library!

All the best,

Amy Babcock, Director
