Livingston Library Community, 

This year’s summer reading slogan is “All Together Now,” a theme centered around kindness and community. In line with this theme, the Livingston Public Library is pleased to offer its fourth year of LiviCares: An Adult Volunteer Club. 

On Tuesday, July 25th at 11am, we invite you to join us in the Library’s Technology Room where we will be writing letters to be donated to seniors in need of a smile through the organization Letters Against Isolation. Registration is not required and all are welcome to join us as we write letters. Supplies including paper, pens, and embellishments will be provided. Are you looking for more ways to give back? The Library also offers Livi Cares kits through the Library of Things! Through the Library of Things you can borrow a card making kit, where cards created will be donated to Cards for Hospitalized Kids, and a Knitting Loom Kit used to make baby hats for preemies. You can learn more about the other really cool items that you can borrow from the library (besides books!) on the Library’s website.
