If you’re as excited as I am to start another year of gardening, be sure to stop by the library on Monday, April 20 for our third annual Seed Library Kickoff! Browse our collection and pick from a variety of flower, herb, and vegetable seeds, many of which are organic, heirloom, and native to New Jersey. Seeds are free and available to everyone– all we ask is that you take only what you need, and limit yourself to five seed envelopes a week. Then when your plants have matured, we welcome you to harvest the seeds and bring them back to the library for the cycle to continue.

This Seed Library is sponsored by the Friends of the Livingston Public Library, as well as through donations provided by Burpee Seed Company, American Meadows, Great Swamp Greenhouses, Cerbo’s Greenhouse, and Eden Brothers.
