Livingston Library Community,
With a new school year on the horizon, it’s a great time to remember that a valuable education goes far beyond classroom subjects. For young people to grow into successful, well-rounded adults, it’s also important to learn how to develop qualities like confidence, resilience, and interpersonal skills.
That’s why the Library is proud to announce “Project Thrive,” a new collaborative initiative in partnership with our own Livingston Township Health Department, and the West Essex Y. Designed to support the growth, well-being, and overall success of middle school students, participants in this monthly program will engage in creative activities, community projects, leadership opportunities, and wellness experiences in a fun, low-pressure environment.
Students entering grades 6-8 can register with their Livingston Library card for our first meeting on Tuesday, September 8th at 6:30pm. We’ll present an overview of the Project Thrive Program and meet the library’s Teen Advisory Board mentors while enjoying cotton candy! Be sure to visit our online calendar or speak with a Library staff member to secure a spot.
All the Best,
Amy Babcock, Director
