It’s a great time of year for all the movie lovers out there. Not only are the 98th Academy Awards airing this evening, but later this month, we’ll be showing some of the past year’s most popular and critically acclaimed films on the big screen in our Program Room.

Starting this Saturday, March 21st at 1:30pm, we’re screening Disney’s smash hit Zootopia 2. Bring the whole family to see Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde team up once again to crack the most perilous and intricate case of their careers. Then on Sunday, March 22nd at 1:30pm, we have Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another, in which a reclusive ex-revolutionary (Leonardo DiCaprio) fights to rescue his daughter (Chase Infiniti) from his evil nemesis (Sean Penn). Nominated for 13 Academy Awards including Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Adapted Screenplay, One Battle After Another is expected to win big at tonight’s ceremony.

For our Tuesday Night Movie on March 24th at 6:30pm, we’ve got Paul Feig’s The Housemaid. Based on Freida McFadden’s juicy best-selling thriller, it stars Sydney Sweeney as a woman with a troubled past who takes a job working for a wealthy couple (Amanda Seyfried and Brandon Sklenar), only to learn that the family’s secrets are far more dangerous than her own. Finally, our Thursday Matinee at 2pm on March 26th will be Craig Brewer’s Song Sung Blue. Inspired by a remarkable true story, it follows the husband-and-wife Neil Diamond tribute band “Lightning and Thunder” (Hugh Jackman and Oscar nominee Kate Hudson) as they experience soaring success and devastating heartbreak in their musical journey together.

All of these screenings are free and open to the public, with no registration required. And as always, we’ll be serving free bags of popcorn (while supplies last)! We hope to see you for one or more of these fascinating films.
