Message from the Director: Enjoy a Film at the Library!

amy intro graphic

Livingston Library Community,

Come sit back and relax as we enjoy the screening of current and trending films here at the Library!

On Thursday, November 30th at 2pm, join us as we show the film Barbie. During this movie, Barbie (Margot Robbie) and Ken (Ryan Gosling) are having the time of their lives in the colorful and seemingly perfect world of Barbie Land. However, when they get a chance to go to the real world, they soon discover the joys and perils of living among humans.

We are also excited to announce our Saturday matinee screening of Oppenheimer on December 2nd at 1:30pm. During this film, J. Robert Oppenheimer played an integral role in developing the first atomic bomb. Throughout the development of the bomb, Oppenheimer struggled with justifying a creation that came to cause so much damage. He questions whether he owes it to scientific discovery to create something capable of so much power.

We hope to see you at one of these films!

Best,

Amy Babcock, Director

  1. Hi – I had the Barbie down on my calendar for Tues 11/28 afternoon and at 6:30… am I wrong or was it changed?

    1. Hi Eileen,

We had originally planned to screen Barbie on Tuesday evening as well, but unfortunately we had to postpone it. As of now, we only have the Barbie screening on Thursday afternoon at 2 pm scheduled.
