Message From the Director: Create a Capsule Wardrobe

Livingston Library Community,

Have you ever wanted to create a “capsule wardrobe” full of timeless pieces that will both declutter your closet and help you easily find something to wear for every occasion? This summer, give your closet a refresh with tips and tricks presented by professional organizer Jamie Novak. Novak will be joining us in the Library’s program room on Wednesday, June 1st at 2pm for “I Have Nothing to Wear: How to Condense Your Closet and Build a Capsule Wardrobe.”

During this workshop, Novak will explain what a capsule wardrobe is, why you may wish to have one, and how you can decide which clothes to keep and which to sell.  She will also explain the process of how you can sell your well loved clothes for the maximum financial return. Registration is not required for this in-person event, and all are welcome to attend.

If you’re excited to tackle your next closet organizing project, the Livingston Public Library has a wonderful collection of organizational books to inspire you including: Keep This, Toss That by Jamie Novak, Clean & Organized: Money Saving Hacks and DIYs for a Clean and Clutter-Free Home by Nifty, and 365 Quick and Easy Tips: Home Organization by Weldon Owen.

We hope to see you at this event!

Best,

Amy Babcock, Director
