Message From the Director: Cookbook Club Returns!

“Every once in a while a cookbook comes along that simply knocks me out.”

– Ina Garten

Livingston Library Community,

The Livingston Public Library has some exciting news! On Wednesday, May 25th at 7pm, those who enjoy experimenting with new recipes, sharing kitchen tips, and tasting yummy food are invited to join us in the Library’s program room for our first Cookbook Club meeting since 2020!

For the May meeting, participants will be selecting and creating recipes from Nothing Fancy: Unfancy Food For Having People Over by Alison Roman. Registration is required for Cookbook Club and recipe selections are due by May 23rd.

You can register for the Cookbook Club through the Library’s website, here. Once you choose a recipe please email Melissa Brisbin before May 23rd  at melissa.brisbin@livingston.bccls.org.

Then, create your dish and join us on the 25th to discuss and share with others!  Dishes, utensils, and water will be provided.

We hope to see you at this first meeting!

Best,

Amy Babcock, Director

Please note:

The Library is not responsible for dishes that may conflict with an individual’s food allergies. The Library will provide a copy of each recipe, along with the list of ingredients for each dish as provided by participants.
