Message from the Director: Celebrate Women’s History Month

Livingston Library Community,

The month of March marks Women’s History Month, and this year the Livingston Public Library has virtual programs and resources to help you honor and explore women’s history.

On Monday, March 8th at 7pm, the Livingston Public Library invites you to join us on Zoom for The Schuyler Sisters and the Hamilton Musical.  During this virtual lecture, Rick Feingold will focus on the four daughters of General Philip Schuyler, who ran away from home to elope with wealthy men, except for one, who married Alexander Hamilton- a poor orphan of whom she loved.

We also invite you to explore Women’s History through your March to-read list.  Our Library blog contains book lists such as Historical Fiction with Female Characters, as well as Reads Written by Strong Female Authors.

Registration is required for virtual events and can be done so through the Library’s event calendar, here.  An email with information on how to access the Zoom lecture will be sent to you the day before the program.

Best,

Amy Babcock, Director
