Message from the Director: Celebrate Pride This June at LPL!

Livingston Library Community,

We celebrate June as Pride Month. As we look forward to June, the Library has events and community outreach planned to help you celebrate Pride all month long!

Starting on May 30th, children ages 4 and up are invited to stop by the Youth Services desk to pick up a Pride Bracelet Take Home Craft using small, rainbow colored beads.

The Library will also be attending Shiv’s Third Eye Pride Month Celebration on June 4th at the Livingston Oval. Keep an eye out for the Library’s table, where library staff will be handing out some fun giveaways!

Adults can look forward to crafting Pride Month Friendship Bracelets on June 15th at 11am. Using embroidery thread in a rainbow of colors, adults will create bracelets using braiding and knotting techniques. Registration is required and can be done so on the Library’s event calendar

All month long we will also have book displays and book lists in celebration of Pride Month throughout the Library. Visit our blog during the month June for book lists and resources for all ages.

Happy Pride!

Amy Babcock, Director
