Livingston Library Community,
The Livingston Public Library invites children in grades K–5 to join us for a special Native American Heritage Month program, “Makers of History: Making Parachutes,” on Friday, November 28, 2025, from 2:00 PM–3:00 PM.
In this hands-on STEAM program, young makers will learn about Mary Riddle (1902–1981), a pioneering Native American pilot and parachutist, and explore the science of flight by creating and testing their own parachute designs! Through this fun, creative activity, children will discover how perseverance, innovation, and cultural heritage can soar together.
Come celebrate history, culture, and creativity at our library!
All the Best,
Amy Babcock, Director
