amy intro graphic

Livingston Library Community,

The month of October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which is an international health campaign to bring awareness and promote screening for and prevention of breast cancer, which affects on average 242,100 people in the United States each year.

On Wednesday, October 11th at 2pm, we invite you to join us for an informative talk on Breast Health, where Dr. Sarah S. Schaefer of Barnabas Health Medical Group will give an overview of statistics related to  breast cancer and discuss causes, symptoms, screening and diagnostic tools, treatment options, risk factors, and prevention.

All are welcome to attend this event, but registration is required. You can register and learn more about the program on the Library’s event calendar, here

We hope to see you at the Library soon!

Best,

Amy Babcock, Director
