Take a break from the summer heat this week and join us at the Library for a film screening in the Library’s program room! 

On Tuesday, August 19th at 6:30pm, adults are welcome to join us for our Tuesday Night Movie screening of  Sinners. In this movie (Rated R), twin brothers who had tried to leave their troubled lives behind return to their hometown in the hopes of starting over. However, once they get there they discover that something evil is waiting to welcome them.

Those looking for an afternoon film will enjoy our Thursday Matinee screening of Rule Breakers on Thursday, August 21st at 2pm. This film (Rated PG) takes the viewer to a nation where  the education of girls is rebellion, and where a visionary woman sparks both hope and opposition, showing how courage can ignite a movement of transformation. 

Movie goers of all ages will enjoy our Weekend Movie screening of Lilo & Stitch on Saturday, September 6th at 1:30pm. This film (Rated PG), a live-action reimagining of Disney’s 2002 animated classic, is the wildly funny and touching story of a lonely Hawaiian girl and the fugitive alien who helps to mend her broken family.

Registration is not required to attend any of the Library’s film screenings. Popcorn will be served while supplies last.
