Message From the Director: Back to School Resources

Livingston Library Community,

As summer comes to an end and we begin to look towards a new school year we know one thing for sure, it will be a fall unlike any we have had before. On behalf of the entire library team, I offer our support and encouragement to our teachers, administrators, students, and families as they begin the school year. We are impressed and inspired by your hard work and dedication. Thank you for everything you do. The Livingston Public Library is here to support you!

The Livingston Public Library offers resources from study prep, to tutoring, and more – that learners of all ages can find helpful.  One excellent resource is Tutor.com. From online tutoring, homework help, and test preparation that includes diagnostic tools and self-study resources, the Tutor.com Learning Suite is designed to meet the individual needs of students.  Everyday from 3:00 -10:00 PM students of all ages can connect with a live tutor to ask questions about Math, Science, Social Studies, English, and more. On Tutor.com students also have the ability to submit papers for review and access SAT/ACT test prep materials.

In addition to our entire print and media collection the library offers access to a wide variety of eResources including Libby/Overdrive for ebooks and audiobooks and Hoopla for access to streaming movies, tv shows, music and instant access to books, audiobooks. We also provide a wide range of databases and research tools that can be accessed from any location where you may be learning.

Again, we lend our support and encouragement to the entire Livingston educational community. We wish everyone a safe and successful start to the school year!

~Amy, Director
