Livingston Library Community,

Are you ready for summer reading? The Livingston Public Library is excited to host  summer reading for all ages! Centered around the theme of “All Together Now,” this summer is all about kindness and community.

Babies, toddlers, and children through Grades 5 (Fall 2023) are encouraged to participate in the 2023 “All Together Now!” Summer Learning Challenge. Children register through Beanstack, log reading minutes and complete kindness activities on our Bingo Board to earn prizes!  Earn a prize for making your first bingo (row, column, or diagonal) and for filling in the whole board! You will earn virtual tickets along the way – be sure to enter these into the grand prize drawing(s) of your choice by Sunday, August 6th! Grand prize winners will be announced the week of August 7th.

Teens Grades 6 through 12 are invited to join their own summer learning challenge. They will complete different activities and reading goals in order to earn prizes selected by the teen advisory board. Grand prizes include gift cards! They may register in person, or through the teen zone of the library website.

Adult patrons can register for Adult Summer Reading through this form. Every adult item checked out earns you a raffle ticket towards our weekly prize drawing. Every week there will be three winners, and at the end of the program two lucky grand prize winners will win new Kindles!

Summer Reading runs from June 27th through August 4th. You can learn more about Summer Reading and all of the other wonderful events we have planned this summer through the Library’s online event calendar

We also encourage you to participate in our Community Journal program this summer. Stop by the Youth Services, Teen Services, or Adult Services desks to continue the story inside the provided journals by writing a few sentences or a short paragraph. All together we can create something wonderful!

Happy Summer Reading!

Best,

Amy Babcock, Director
