May Adult Programming Wrap Up

May was a month full of wonderful adult programs and events! Below is a recap of what took place at the Livingston Library this May.

We worked on becoming healthier versions of ourselves this month with our all-levels Adult Yoga Workshop, Building a Healthy Salad demonstration, 8 Dimensions of Wellness workshop, and health lecture on The Diagnosis and Treatment for Vascular Issues

Those looking to explore genealogy enjoyed the lecture Adoption and the Search for Biological Family, while those interested in gardening enjoyed the lectures Plants of the Bible for Your NJ Garden and BlueBirds and Hummingbirds in my Backyard?

We also enjoyed the lectures Criminal Minds: Killer Handwriting and White House Memories: A History of Entertainment in the White House.

Adults interested in expressing their artistic side enjoyed our Twirl and Swirl Quilling Workshop, Adult Art Workshop: Make a Memory Wire Bracelet, Crafternoon, and Mother’s Day Picnic and craft event!

Are you interested in learning how you can use the library’s subscription to Hoopla to borrow ebooks, audiobooks, music, and movies? This month readers enjoyed the Tech Class: Explore Hoopla to learn how they can use these services!

We were happy to welcome the Livingston High School Jazz Band back to the Library to perform at our May Senior Happening

Those looking to enjoy a film in the Library’s program room were treated to our evening and matinee Movie of the Month screening of All of Us Strangers and Saturday Matinee screening of The Zone of Interest.

We also enjoyed our many book clubs this month including: Thrilling Tales, Bookish Vibes book club and author visit with Laura Sims, Let’s Talk About Books, Crime Time, and Cookbook Club

Be sure to visit our event calendar to save the date for all of the programs taking place in June. We hope to see you at the library soon!
