May Adult Programming Wrap Up

Hello Everyone!

This May we had some really fun events take place. Here is a quick recap of the wonderful programs that drew our community together.

We started the month off with a lecture on The Joys of Backyard Birding. We learned all about how to identify the birds that visit our yard and how to feed the native birds that frequent our yards. Those looking to get ready for spring also enjoyed a lecture on 12 Dependable Perennials.

We learned a lot this month! We enjoyed the second program in our “Be Money Wise” program series with Livingston’s M&T Bank on Planning for Retirement. We also enjoyed the lectures Irving Berlin: An American Institution and Forgotten Military Heroes

We were also happy to promote Princeton Public Library’s event AAPI Curriculum One Year Later.

Mothers looking to head back to work enjoyed the lecture Heading Back to Work Mama? Which gave helpful tips and tricks about getting back to work and creating a work-life balance.

Those looking to learn more about the computer enjoyed our Tech Basics: Google Docs lesson.

We love to get crafty with our patrons! We enjoyed some wonderful crafting opportunities this month including our Adult Art Workshop: Make a Memory Wire Aromatherapy, drop-in Crafternoon, Hooks and Needles, and Crafterwork events.

We love all things bookish! This month we enjoyed our Bookish Vibes book club and author visit with Helen Wan, Cookbook Club, Thrilling Tales, Let’s Talk About Books, and Crime Time book clubs.

Those looking to enjoy a film, were happy to attend our Movie of the Month which featured an evening and afternoon matinee screening of Knock at the Cabin in the Library’s program room.

We love a good game of Bingo! Bingo players of all ages joined us in the Library’s program room for a fun filled Bingo Night.

And last but not least, the Library was pleased to welcome the Livingston High School Jazz Band back for their 21st Senior Happening performance.

Be sure to visit our event calendar to see all the wonderful events we have planned for June. We hope to see you at the Library soon!
