We enjoyed so many wonderful adult programs this March! Here is a recap of the fun and engaging events that took place this month.
Those who love to get crafty enjoyed our Crafterwork evening craft where we made paper flowers, our drop-in Crafternoon group, and our instructor-led Make a Decorative Flower Pot adult art workshop. We also hosted our Hooks & Needles group in the afternoon and in the evening!
Do you love book clubs? We do! This month we hosted our Bookish Vibes book club which included an author visit with Katie Runde, our in-person Thrilling Tales afternoon mystery book club, Let’s Talk About Books, Crime Time, and Cookbook Club!
We may love books, but we also enjoy good movies. This month we held our Tuesday Night Movie screening of The Whale, followed by a special afternoon matinee showing.
Our Seniors enjoyed a lively Senior Happening, where Fred Miller presented “The Singable Rock Songs from the 50s and 60s.”
We love learning something new! This month we had lectures on a wide array of subjects including Three Visionary Women (in celebration of Women’s History Month), Quilting Through the Centuries, Bonsai for Beginners, Food & Mood, and the arm-chair travel talk Explore Our National Parks.
This March, the Livingston Public Library also participated in Maker Day. Maker Day was a wonderful event which showcased local makers. Adults enjoyed take-home crafts, connecting with the community, and more!
