I Love My Library

As you may or may not know, the Library underwent some collection changes this summer (read more here). Part of these changes will be the addition of a new Adult seating space where the Fiction books were formerly shelved.

We have some great plans coming up for this space, and we want your help to decorate this new area! Starting on October 17th, we will be running a “Why I Love My Library” contest. To participate, all you need to do is fill out a ballot with your name, number and why you love your library, located next to the Patron Services desk. Three winners will be chosen at random to receive prizes. The grand prize winner will win a Google Home mini, while two runner ups will each win tickets to the Newark Museum.

Each participant’s answer will be used to create artwork that will be displayed proudly in our new area. The contest will end on November 10th. If you have any questions, please see the Reference Desk for more information. We look forward to hearing all of your responses and can’t wait to reveal the final completed seating space!
