Hey LTown – What Are You Reading?

The Livingston Public Library is proud to continue the tradition of participating in Youth Appreciation Week.  This year, we want to talk to you about…you guessed it…BOOKS!  Tell us what you’re reading, your favorite book, what you want to read, etc, and then create your own ‘book button’ using our super cool button maker.

Children and teens can stop by the Youth Department on Wednesday, May 15, between 3:00-5:00 PM.

Why wait?  Tell us now, what are you reading???

  1. Angels in America: A Gay Fantasia on National Themes is the best play I’ve ever seen and read. The characters feel so fleshed out and ALIVE. The subject of HIV/AIDS is done in such a nuanced manner but isn’t afraid to shy away from the harsh truths. It’s also surprisingly hilarious. Honestly, even without the live experience, it’s still incredible.

  2. I’ve been enjoying “Let’s Go (So We Can Get Back),” a memoir by the great musician Jeff Tweedy– but if I had to choose my favorite book, it might have to be “The Phantom Tollbooth”!

  3. A book I really enjoyed is Everything, Everything, due to the plot of the story, and the characters involved.

  4. The Giver by Lois Lowry is my favorite book.

Gina who works in the teen section of the library is also the best.
