Garden State Children’s Book Awards

Hey kids, voting isn’t only for adults! Your voice matters!

Starting in November, children can vote for their favorite books to determine the winners of the Garden State Children’s Book Award 2022.  The nominated books were selected by a committee of New Jersey librarians and are divided into four categories: early readers, fiction, graphic novels, and nonfiction.

Nominees in the Fiction category include fantasy books, such as The Dragon Warrior and Mia Mayhem vs. the Super Bully

Graphic novel nominees include New Kid and The Okay Witch,  and Nonfiction nominees like Reaching for the Moon and Stonewall: A Building, An Uprising, A Revolution.
