Your Livingston Public Library card gives cardholders access to Kanopy, which allows users to borrow up to 10 titles per month including classic cinema, indie films, The Great Courses, and even films for kids!

Here are some new additions to Kanopy’s collection. (Note: All descriptions are taken from Kanopy)

Mister Mayfair

Max Mayfair is living the ‘good life’. Having left New York City and his past as a gangster, he now runs the most glamorous club in all of London: Rat pack style.

Love Surreal

Art student Abby must face letting go of her imaginary boyfriend to give a charming but annoying fellow student a chance at her heart.

Sisterhood of the Night

Based on the short story by Pulitzer Prize-winning author Steven Millhauser, The Sisterhood of Night is a story of friendship and loyalty set against the backdrop of a modern-day Salem witch trial. Shot on location in Kingston, NY, the film chronicles a group of girls who have slipped out of the world of social media into a mysterious world deep in the woods.

Judy

Academy Award and Golden Globe winner Renee Zellweger is “remarkable” (USA TODAY) in this unforgettable portrait of showbiz legend Judy Garland.

Some Kind of Heaven

Follows the dreams and desires of a small group of residents who are unable to find happiness within The Villages, America’s largest retirement community – a massive, self-contained utopia.

The Motorcycle Illustrated

To pay tribute to his great grandfather, Cutler Gray builds his own motorized bicycle and rides 1000 miles from Los Angeles to Seattle.

Still the Water

On the subtropical Japanese island of Amami, traditions about nature remain eternal. During the full-moon night of traditional dances in August, 16-year-old Kaito discovers a dead body floating in the sea. His girlfriend Kyoko will attempt to help him understand this mysterious discovery. Together, Kaito and Kyoko will learn to become adults by experiencing the interwoven cycles of life, death and love.

Happy watching!
