Explore the Livingston Public Library’s Virtual Book Clubs

“You can never get a cup of tea large enough or a book long enough to suit me.”

― C.S. Lewis

Livingston Library Community,

Here at the Livingston Public Library we adore not only connecting readers with books but also connecting readers with other book lovers.  Did you know that the Livingston Public Library offers a variety of virtual book clubs for all ages and interests? Whether you’re a child or an adult, enjoy reading science fiction or pop-fiction, there’s a book club and a group for you!

**The Livingston Public Library’s book clubs meet virtually on Zoom.  Registration is required for these events and can be done so through the Library’s event calendar.  An email with information on how to access the event will be sent to you the day before the program.**

Bookish Vibes

For biblophiles looking to discuss novels with other book lovers, our Bookish Vibes book club might be perfect for you.  Attendees of Bookish Vibes will enjoy discussing popular novels of various genres. Once a month, a specific title will be available to borrow from the Patron Services Desk.  However, attendees are not required to read the selected title and are welcome to come ready to discuss any book they would like to by the author. The next Bookish Vibes meeting will be on April 8th at 7pm, where attendees will be discussing books by Barbara Delinksy, who will also be joining the book club that evening!  Bookish Vibes is also looking forward to their May 6th meeting, where author Susan Wiggs will be visiting.

Unstuck in Time

If speculative fiction is more your thing, you may find our Unstuck in Time book club of interest. Unstuck in Time meets once a month on a Tuesday evening at 7pm and revisits classic speculative fiction. The next Unstuck in Time book club meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 27th at 7pm.  Attendees will be discussing Shirley Jackson’s The Haunting of Hill House

Let’s Talk About Books
