December Adult Programming Wrap Up

2022 may be here already, but we had so much fun at our Adult programs during December 2021, that we just had to share! Here is a recap of the wonderful adult events held during the month of December.

We got crafty this month with some wonderful instructor-led and drop-in creative arts programs! We enjoyed our Adult Paint Night: Mixed Media Painting, led by Express Yourself Studios. Everyone created some beautiful textured paintings to display in their homes. We also enjoyed our drop-in monthly Crafternoon craft and Color Your Stress Away adult coloring group!

We enjoyed a lively in-person Senior Happening performance where Brad Ziffer presented “Holiday Sing-A-Long.” Following Senior Happening, Teen Techie Tutors (in partnership with SYLS and Livingston High School) returned to help Seniors with their tech questions!

For those that need more individualized tech assistance, our Tech One-on-One program also began during the month of December! Patrons were able to make appointments for individualized assistance with our technology librarian.

We enjoyed our monthly Classic Movie Tuesday movie screening in the program room with The Wizard of Oz., as well as a riveting virtual lecture of the beautiful Holiday Lights of NYC, presented by Mario Medici.

And of course, we also enjoyed hosting a wide array of adult book clubs for all readers including: Bookish Vibes (with an author visit with Kathleen Grissom!), Crime Time, Let’s Talk About Books, and Unstuck in Time

We have some really exciting programs planned this month! Be sure to visit our events calendar to stay up to date on what’s going on at the Livingston Library!

See you soon!

-Jessica, Interim Head of Adult Services & Acquisitions
