Are you an avid reader looking to discuss novels by popular and trending authors with other readers? If so, our Bookish Vibes book club is for you! Bookish Vibes meets monthly at 7pm via Zoom and is all about “vibing” with a great read. Our next meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 27th at 7pm, where we will be discussing Sunflower Sisters by Martha Hall Kelly. The best part? Martha Hall Kelly will also be zooming into our discussion!
From the Publisher: In Sunflower Sisters, Kelly tells the story of Ferriday’s ancestor Georgeanna Woolsey, a Union nurse during the Civil War whose calling leads her to cross paths with Jemma, a young enslaved girl who is sold off and conscripted into the army, and Anne-May Wilson, a Southern plantation mistress whose husband enlists.
